Granny's garden was what we used on the three BBC B's that we had at school. But, we had a choplifter clone on a disk hidden in the cupboard. Good times!

Now a proud owner of a Master!Milky2015-02-25 21:42:39

I use to play frak.
I also had a naked version of freak at school.
How sad was that?!!!!

I still have my BBC model b at my dads. I must get it out again and have a blast.

BBC Micro.. best computer EVER!

Freefall

Zalaga

Revs

Mr Ee

Hunchback

Rocket Raid

My school mate was friends with the editor of one of the BBC computer mags, we used to visit him sometimes and come away with a carrier bag of games (ones that had been sent in for review), happy days

The game I used to love the most on the BBC micro was the gam known as "miss, can we go and do stuff on the computer and pretend we're learning sh*t instead of doing our maths lessons"? For some reason we were allowed to. No real idea why. Actual spent quite a lot of time playing some text based maze game on the Research Machines 380Z.

Probably the main reason I only scraped a CSE maths. Along will all the other non educational things I used to get up to instead of actually doing work.

I never owned a BBC so can't really comment (I have a super tricked out Master now though), but I did used to love Snapper whenever I went anywhere that it was on.

I remember playing a lot of strykers run despite the fact it was utter crap.

cholo seemed amazing at the time but a bit sparse now.

firetrack, a vaguely aimless shooter with good music

the sentinel

revs

thrust, frak, elite, manic miner.

tanks and dogfight for some good pvp action :)

I remember buying frak when it came out,
I played it a couple of weeks ago on my housemates beeb (on disk).
Also liked gorf, crazy painter, danger uxb, zaxxon, defender & space panic (not sure of their names now) plus many others. I loved my beeb back in the day.

Repton and Citadel I remember vividly as well as a game I think was called the Phantom of Fleet street or something like that where you worked for a newspaper and had to solve some sort of mystery! Gutted my cousins chucked out their huo BBC B (dad was in finance in the 80s so minted!)
