I've had my Japanese model like yours for a few years, it had sat in a shipping container for ~10 years and was pretty rusted out. After repairing the monitor and power supply the PCB and flashboy bulbs amazingly worked with no issue. 3 of the 4 trigger switches had failed, so I replaced those [they were all chained together so they must have failed while still in service] The solid state relay that controlled the lights in the top rear of the cabinet had failed so they were always stuck on, replacing that fixed the light functionality.

Ever since I haven't had any issues over the last 3 years, and some of the initial failures might have been environmentally related - certainly the rusted out power supplies!! I wouldn't mind taming down the seat vibration as it can be fairly unpleasant to folks! I think the US version moved the motor under the seat instead of behind.
