So, OK I don't know why it's taken me so long to get on here. Been involved with UKVAC from yeeeears ago, mainly on the IRC chan, but I haven't even been there for a few years (does it still exist?) - I took a break whilst I went and got retrained as a horse dentist, and then set up a business.

Well that business is 5 years old now, and I've decided my 3 year break from all things UKVAC has been too long.

A number of you already know me from the early days, and from FB and from other arcade forums, and those that don't know me... Hi! :)

As part of starting a business and downsizing house, I unfortunately had to sell all my dedicateds and pins... left with just a couple of JAMMA machines and a 50 or so various PCBs (not all JAMMA).

BUT the collection will start again one day. In the meantime, I'll hang around here, annoying whomever :)

Hi Gaz!

Awww, that means the GnR has gone

. Awesome game. I don't actually regret selling that as such since I simply didn't have the room and still don't but every time I play one I love it and wish I did still own it

Horse dentist, eh?! I have to say, that's a rather unusual profession!!!

Mr Chappy: at least you didn't crack the one about gift horses and looking in certain areas ;)

Hi Martin!

Alas, the GnR was sold, and unlike you, I *do* regret it (and my SF2), but not the others. But alas simply no room in new house for pins. Maybe again in the future I'll get them back, we'll have to wait and see :)

Miss a lot of my cabs TBH... More than I thought I would considering how they never got played anywhere near as much as they should (unlike the GnR which got a lot of use from me! :) )

I decided to answer my own question about IRC and dropped in last night, but noone was around at the time, but I'll check back in there at more social hours :)

Yes being a horse dentist is one of the odder things I could be doing, but in all honest it has to be one of the best jobs in the world, as you can make living things better, and at the same time feel very alive yourself when you get ones that try and kill you ;)

What's new with you? Been ages since we spoke, never realised how quickly life was running away - only feels like a few months since I was preparing to go to Oz for 3 months to do my training, yet I've been in business as a dentist 5 years already!!!

Man, I've been so holding off a "So do you look in gift horses mouths" pun, glad it's now out in the open :)

Welcome back, IRC still lives although there are large quiet times these days.
