I am a new member to the site and have recently bought a electrocoin
xenon cabinet for mame conversion. It came with no monitor or game, so i
am going to buy a 25" crt tv and use the scart input and use a pc for
the mame platform. I will keep the original JAMMA interface so when i
find a cheap game card on ebay, which requires repair, i can by CouponDropDown">slot it straight in.

So i am looking forward to getting my teeth into this new project.

I
am that classic age that when we use to go on holiday to Great Yarmouth
and hemsby, 15 years on the trot, i played every arcade machine from
the late 80's to mid 90's, great times.

Howdoo, I'm good with MAMEing stuff if you get stuck

Try and get yourself a Sony TV too, service menu is normally easy to get into and tune the tube to fit VGA to Scart nicely.

I have got myself a sony 25" trinitron from freecycle, working, looks really good.

The only problem is the mounting frame in the zenon is missing.

So i will try to look out for one or try and make one out of mdf.
