Hello everyone, thought i would give you all a little introduction.
The majority of my "adult" life (I use the term adult very lightly
) has been spent purchasing, collecting, repairing and selling fruit machines but I have finally stepped away from them to purchase my first ever jamma cab.
I began to browse eBay to find that 90% of the cab's were miles away and the Mrs didn't look too keen when i suggested collecting them
eventually i managed to find one a little closer to home and the seller was even willing to deliver (BONUS!!
). So like a kid at xmas i started to bid, unfortunately i lost but to my surprise i received a message from the seller stating that they had another cab that they were selling for £120, i rapidly gathered my cash together and purchased it. I was extremely pleased to see the cab once it arrived (it's a Brent Leisure Supreme) and after the cabinet had fallen on the seller whilst attempting to load it into his van i think he was quite pleased to see the back of it lol.
It currently has an iCade 60 in 1 board installed which i have found actually turns out to be a 56 in 1 as the makers have doubled 4 of the games but I'm sure i can get that sorted. I do have a few problems with the cab but will post that in the correct section as i don't really want a telling off on my first day lmao.
The bonus of it all is that the Mrs hates it but the kids absolutely love it (all 8 of them!!)
Anyway, enough of my nattering as I've probably bored some of you to sleep by now. I look forward to hearing from you all and getting to know everyone and hopefully picking a few brains with regards to faults etc.
