Started building arcade machines a while ago. Then realized restoring original cabinets is cheaper, feels more authentic and is more fun. Since I only have one room for the cabinets I try to have one machine for each type of game. I do mame/PC conversions while keeping the original hardware. So far I have:
DIY horizontal 15khz CRT cabinet (mame)
Tab Austria Gigant vertical 15khz CRT cabinet (mame)
DIY 27" LCD cabinet for modern (PC) games
DIY virtual pinball table
Vertical Novomatic starline cocktail table (mame)
2x Cruisin world 25khz sit down (mame, Model2, Model3)
Twin Ace Driver Victory Lap sit down with LCDs for modern racing games
Mashup of Scud Race cabinet with Star Wars Trilogy controlboard and Cruisin World pedals for flight games
Gun4IR LCD cabinet is still under construction
Offroad Challenge LCD/PC conversion (all games)
Dealers Choice pinball
There is hardly any space left, but would like to have a sit down bike. Maybe some day.
