This is a bit of a reintroduction of myself...
I haven't been the most active member of this forum (was a little bit more active on Jamma+, where I bought and sold a few times), but after a long hiatus of owning anything, I finally have a jamma cab again.
I picked up a generic Videomaster, which is proving perfect for some casual blasts at a few classics.
I've taken the bold step (bold for me with very little technical ability or DIY skills) to swap out the sticks and buttons for something more 'fighter friendly'. I picked up the IL EURO Sticks from Arcade World.
I've been 'retro fitting' the existing control panel, which has been very educational, frustrating and fun! I'm halfway there and have swapped over the player 2 side.
Will upload a couple of pics soon. I also have an Electrocoin Unigame cabinet stored at my brothers house that is waiting for a monitor chassis to be soldered on (if anyone lives near Leamington Spa and would be willing to assist my brother that would be amazing!)
Just an FYI that I'm based up in North Yorkshire and was so psyched when Arcade Club Leeds opened. Went on opening day and looking forward to going back. Would be really interested to hear of any local meet ups
