To upload and select an avatar:

  • Login to ukvac

  • Select Edit profile
  • scroll down to the avatar section and click avatar upload
  • This will open a new tab/window - click browse top right
  • Browse your pc for the avater, select it, then click the upload button
  • Click the Ok button after is uploaded an previewed
  • Back on the edit profile tab, scroll to the bottom and click "Update Profile"

You will stop being a strawberry when you get enough points.

Uploading an avatar will not remove it. (Check Rav's and my details...)

Thanks did that. Uploaded picture 4kb Jpeg. File now in uploaded avatar section. Clicked on it and image is in preview. Then click on ok button and nothing happens. Is there an error currently?

Ok button not working for me in Chrome or Firefox either.

Not sure what this paths thing is about, tried ukvac.com/uploads/xxxx/xxx.jpg but guess that's not it?

Sorry this is still causing problems.

To manually enter the URL it should be along the lines of

forum/uploads/<UID>/avatar.jpg

or /uploads/<UID>/avatar.jpg

I can't remember which is the correct one but one of them is

Actually, instead of using a relative path you can just go for the full URL:

http://www.ukvac.com/forum/uploads/<UID>/<filename.jpg>
