I've been trying to replay some recorded games on the MARP site:

I can replay fine any inps I do in MAME but struggle with other peoples' from this site recorded in old versions. For example I tried to download the top score for Indian Battle as this is one of the ones I wanted to watch.
I downloaded both the inp which includes also a wlf file and also Wolfmame 106 as per the link provided. I can run Wolfmame but when I load the game to replay the input I just get a black box with a small box in the top left corner (after it looks like it's loaded OK when you've gone through the OK prompt).
I don't get any more joy when trying to run it through the command prompt:
MAME romname -playback inpname
as it comes up with the following message:
Unable to open the keyboard device error 32
and then lists all the rom files stating it can't find them when they are clearly there.
but I'm sure this is something to do with Windows or a missing utility as the Rom zip file is definitely there.
So wondering if anyone has experience with trying to do what I am and can tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get the inp to run please.
