If you've got a MAME romset on your machine you could use ROMlister at http://www.waste.org/~winkles/ROMLister/ to pull out a list of all 4-way horizontal games.
Obviously depends on how accurate the info is but should give you a good starting list.

Yeah, not 2-way - just as they play well on both a 4-way and 8-way stick.
