I got my Star Wars working again! Its been sitting dead for the best part of 2 years, and only a threat from my girlfriend to get rid of it made me spend the time to get it up and running again... Boy, am I glad I did... welcome back old friend! Wheeeeeee!

I sorted through my PCB collection last weekend after not touching it for the last couple of years. Started listing them all and was amazed at how many I didn't know/had forgotten that I had. I'm right back into it now and on a roll fixing the duff boards, well, so far 3 which is a roll for me (Pleiades, Gaplus and Konami's Ping Pong). Does anyone have a spare 6 pin PCB mounted Molex connector like the video socket on a Namco board that they wouldn't mind parting with ?. I have a Mappy PCB that has been hard wired with a strange block connector and want to put it back to normal, as part of the conversion someone has taken off the old video socket. Cheers, Cliff.

Looks like it must be catching... IM BACK BABY... YEAHHH!! Been over at Shawn's arcade barn all day today, spent all last weekend rebooting all my machines at home with predictable results. Yep there's just something about the smell and crackle of lopt's coming to life along with a eminating waft of 20+ year old electricals The faint mains buzz on the speakers, memories of this being interupted my cb radios and taxi cab radios Coin mechs that would accept 10p's as 50's, machines that would add credits randomly when pizo electric lighters were used Pong machines that would give free credits or lower the score when playing pinball on the same electrical circuit (italy very early 80's) JPM 10p tokens, double up deluxe, 3 mellons, counting the reels... lol memories of a time gone by Mark
