the initial d cab at mine has been swapped out and is now running, id2.
its game on, its a freeby. bring your own bevvy etc.
play as many credits as you can. the cards are good for i think 60 sessions i.e. if you play 10 credits then eject the card you will be left with 59 sessions, make sense ??? good.
if you were a player in last years id1 competition, then you can save your car onto a new card for id2, if not then you can pick up a car from the stock ones. there are also new cars to choose from.
the first 2 courses are the same as id1, with the main difference being the addition of rain and snow, its also at night. level 1 is a dawdle, level 2 up until the end boss is also quite easy.
i had to put the old steering pot back in, however that all round super nice guy "equites" is sending me a new pot
this will be fitted by saturday, all being well. if not then the old pot is still use able.
big thanks also go out to guddler for helping out with the cards, and the masked tech head for his skills on the pc etc.
the comp started yesterday. in joint first place is "iamcromby" and "john bud" its expected that at least another 2 will be added this weekend. we have both completed level 1 and are at present chasing the butt of the level 2 boss.
there is a prize for the biggest carry out
yes folks the person who brings the largest amount of tennents, gets a badge
no leather driving gloves are allowed
and finally, we are still short of cards, if you can scavenge any, even just 1 for yourself, do it. or if you can buy some at a reasonable price let me know. i was quoted a pound a card from a guy in italy. when i said that was a bit pricey, he said yeah but you get 50 shots on the card, you cant argue with that eh !! i mean ffs you can eat 1 piece of chewing gum all week, doesnt mean its worth more.
