Jamma Free play

Hi,

I have a Bas Jamma and the coin mechanism is not connected and I am hoping for a quick fix for free play if there is one please?

Free play is dependent on the game itself, not the cabinet. The other option is to add a credit button to the cab somewhere

yep, you need 2 wires going to pin 1 and pin 16 on the jamma adge connector, then on the end of these 2 wires add a microswitch and a button, then put the button wherever you want,

Pin 1 is ground and pin 16 is credit, alternately you can use pin 2, pin 27 or pin 28 instead of pin 1 because these are also ground

any black wire near the coin mechanism will be ground (just meter it to make sure it goes to pin 1, 2, 27 or 28)

and you'll also find a wire near the coin mechanism which will go to pin 16, so an easy solution would be to find these wires out by metering them out and adding a button there for free play
