Nice one mate.

I remember the Videopac too, I only played it a couple of times at one of my mates, he just had Munchkin though.

It's always nice getting something with high scores to aim for. One time I did something that wiped off a couple of years of Japanese laptimes from an Initial D8 game stack, I was absolutely gutted when that happened.

Cheers mate. Yeah my high score on SSB from before was like 150 or something. But it was nice to see the kids scores on there. Something for them to improve on. I'm aiming at 200 now.

Thanks. Yes I'm working on Pole Position. I've rebuilt the power supply board. PCB has some corrosion next to the battery so I doubt that works either. Monitor wasn't powering on but that could be to do with the psu board. It's a long term project. Most likely I'll go with a rPi setup or the FPGA board if it is ever released.

Yeah, it's a shame the FPGA version doesn't look like it'll ever get released. I'm sure it would have saved Pole Position owners a lot of headaches.

Adam posted it was going out for testing last month. There are so many people that want one I probably won't even get on the list for one when it is available anyway.
Arcade Jason has made a Raspberry pi adaptor for Pole Position so it can plug directly from the GPIO pins to the harness. He's done some custom software for it too. That's a more realistic goal for me but I'd have to make another adaptor as his is only for the Atari PP and mine is a Namco so has different size connectors.JonTron2020-05-26 13:45:44
