Karnov bootleg , repair help

Hi, I'm trying to repair a bootleg motherboard PCB. I compared the ROMs against the MAME database, but unfortunately, most of them don't match. There's a version called KARNOVJBL.zip (Japan, bootleg with an NEC D8748HD motherboard). ROMs are available for this version. I just don't know where to put the appropriate ROMs.

Does anyone know where the ROMs from 7-16 are supposed to be?

1-6 - Main CPU - Checksums and locations match
17-24 - Checksums and locations match

7-16 - None of the checksums match, or the ROMs are damaged and unreadable

Is the ROM marked "AUDIO" in the picture really the audio ROM?

In the Main CPU section, the ROMs match, as I mentioned, but we have 27256 and 27512. The 27512 is beeping for pin 1 in the socket - is that how it's supposed to be?

MAME Driver seems to suggest the only difference between the original Japanese romset and the bootleg tomset is the Data East logo is removed, and that the original japan romset will work fine. there are only 4 of those, compared to the bootlegs 8 for Tile Roms. making trial and error positioning easier. or find a hi res picture of the original board online with the roms labelled in their sockets.
oh and yes I think you have the audio and character roms labelled correctly

Should I replace the missing components next to the m68000 (74ls245) ? It looks like factory soldering. Does anyone have a fake PCB like this?

Pin 1 on 27C256 eprom is only used for programming voltage. it is not used on the game board so those missing pins are fine as long as they are sockets for 27C256 eproms. If you have 27C512 eproms in those sockets with missing pin1 then you might have a problem because it is used for Address line A15 on 27C512.
