Anybody had one of these for xmas? I got one and finally had chance to play today and it's totally f**king awesome! I've had an interest in machine vision for some time, but MS have really nailed this one. The sensitivity and discrimination is absolutely top notch, and the launch titles aren't that bad either. The demo disk is a bit more appealing than the obligatory "Wii/Kinect/PS Move" Sports disk, but the games on the sports disk aren't that bad.

I'm really, really, really trying hard not to take it to bits to use it as part of an autonomous robot I'm building

What I'd like to see is some titles coming out that take advantage of the Kinect as well as providing motion control - can you imagine playing Zombies with a foot controller for directional control and then punching out the Zees? Awesome

i opened mine at christmas and played once !
not played it since and can't think of a reason to play it !

yup also got one for xmas..! Love it..! Got two game with it the adventure one and Joy Ride.
Now gonna be waiting for Forza 4 and star wars to come out on it in the new year!!!!!

I've had once since launch day and it got hammered for the first 2 days, then I realised how unfit I am and spent the rest of the week recovering. ("oOoh", "Ahhh", "Oh me' back" etc...) The recognition is crazy good - the system has only become 'confused' once for me - and that was when the dog attacked me for jumping around the lounge shouting "HIGH SCORE BABY! YEAH!! WHO DO YOU LOVE!!".......

I got the MS Sports game for Xmas and the g/f wants Kinectimals....which I would obviously 'try', you know...,just to see how good the tech is.....

I got it for the kids (honest) for xmas. Was impressed with how it works but a bit dissapointed with not being able to access everything minority report style.

Read today that they put a block on the sensitivity of the system and will be releasing a patch to make it x4 more sensitive, with finger and wrist rotation detection.

Apart from Sports and Dance Central (for my little girl - truly)there no games for me yet but star wars is on its way.
