I have relatively few games on Steam but have bought them all direct on Steam. Just wondering where others buy keys to get games a bit cheaper, maybe?

I know there's dodgy sites selling keys cheap, but I'm only interested in legit sites, even if it means paying more. Any recommendations? I'm a complete Steam key noob.

Wouldn't want to guarantee legitimacy but they've been going quite a long while. Normally buy Nintendo online membership and console credit that way too.

Cheers Vorbis. I've heard of cdkeys before and it seems to be pretty legit from what I've just read. G2a on the other hand looks dodgy. Lol. Thanks

Hi, I buy all my nintendo dlc from CD Keys and they have all worked and not had a problem at all, plus they were discount. I have seen stuff on there for Steam:)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm seeing various versions available on games like Red Dead Redemption 2, with cheapest one called "games launcher". What does that mean? 🤔

Sounds like thats the Rockstar Store.

Installation, activation, and online play require Rockstar Games Launcher

you can activate a game on steam, and still need to sign into a 3rd party app to install and launch your game.
ubisoft, Rockstar, EA, etc all user their own launcher.
its also worth signing up for Epic Game Store, I must have around 200 games on there, all for free!! some top titles too

I have used CDKEYS a fair few times and had no issues. I was advised to use paypal as if for any reason a code does not work they are a nightmare to get hold of and are reluctant to help. If you have Paypal its easy to get your money back, Not happened to me though. There again I dont ' Game ' as such.

Dave.

Ah, right. I bought Burnout on Steam but still had to install some EA launcher that I have to be logged into to play the game.

How are you getting free games on Epic?

i can say the complete opposite has happened in my experience, i once didnt get a key sent over to me, so i emailed them letting them know thinking i would have a big battle on my hands, they simply replied saying they had checked and the original key hadnt been redeemed and sent me another

all of that was in a very short window of time as well, maybe 3 or 4 hours

Eneba I've used a lot with zero issues, had to log a ticket the once because their system screwed up, but it was sorted in no time.
