As I have finally retired (Yay!!) I have the time to get interested in projects again so am looking at getting a small jamma cab, not sure what is around though - what are the options available, I would probably be looking at a 14" screen as space is tight, the ability to rotate the screen would be very handy, 2-players isn't needed.

Just wondering what is out there really - did the 'big' manufacturers do such small cabs or would I be looking more for 'chip shop' style?

I have had a lordsvale a couple of timesbefore and loved it, unfortunately like all the others I had it went off to new owners - lovely cab though, probably at the top-end of the scale in terms of value but then it does look nice - probably my no1 choice but realistically I am looking for something a lot cheaper.

Capcom cute comes to mind but they're £££ for 1/4 of the price you can pick up a Dino King. If you want a stand up you're looking for an ISIS or similar.

Sticking with the traditional wooden cabs, there are loads of cabaret options.

The Kadet cabs are probably the smallest form factor, then something like an Isis cab, that @virtvic has done loads with, or the very popular electrocoin midi cabs.

Most of these cabs can be either hori/vert but with the need to pull out and rotate the screen rather than having a rotate mech, etc.

Congrats on your retirement and happy hunting.

I have this cab, much smaller than usual, monitor can’t be rotated. More pics and size in valuation thread.
