Well being in the Uk I searched high and low for the gottlieb Mylar pop bumper shields B-8246.

The only place that had them in stock and the shipping to the UK was not too bad was Marco!! So ordered 10 and with shipping worked at at just under £1.50 each! Not too bad I thought.... till they turned up!!!!

They have been cut out with a laser or heat source which was to hot or something and has physically burnt the plastic on the outside and inside, I cannot use these on a nice polished and refurbished Playfield!!!

Luckily a email later with the pics and they refunded me!!

Great!!! But now I still need to find some!!

Does anyone know of a good source of these in the UK ? Preferably Mylar like the originals were?

Well they seemed to be aware of the problem AND know exactly what had caused it!

I was disappointed as being a major know pinball parts supplier these were deemed to be good and ok to send to the UK.

I did read somewhere on the internet when I was searching that there was a faulty batch which was bought up cheap by some supplier but no one knew which company and everyone sort of said how on earth could they be faulty!!! Perhaps this is the faulty batch!! Everyone seems to be either out of stock of these on there websites, or if they have them the shipping is so extortionate it would attract custom charges on top!!

But I did think a company like that certainly m would not have even sent them out!

Least your all aware now if there acetate! I had plastics cut out for my pinball plastics by laser and there was no burning of the plastic so I know it can be done!!!
