Watched FP3 today and saw some pretty great crashes, especially Massa. I'll be incredibly impressed if Ferrari have his car ready for quali after he took two corners off and likely borked the rears too. Grosjean was another kamikaze driver and I can't help thinking he's not going to be with Lotus next season; the guy is truly fast but he seems to have worse spatial awareness than I do.

It looks like it might be a wet quali which will hopefully hide some of McLaren's woes but I don't think that'll help Mercedes so my guess for pole is one of Kimster, Lewis, either RB or Alonso. Which I realise is pretty much all of the usual suspects :)

Definitely! I think Merc on pole is probably the best outcome for the race. They should still be quick but with their tyre issues it should bunch up the following pack and keep things busy on track, not just in the pits. Had the RB's formed the front row I'd wonder if they'd just scoot.

I almost hope Mercedes don't figure out how to stop their rear's overheating. They have so much speed that I think they would utterly dominate if they had Lotus style tyre durability.

Sucks that JB had a power problem at the end of Q3 :(

I went to watch the Le Mans 24 hour a couple of years back. 2 hours in I realised I actually wasn't that interested in car racing. It was a long weekend lol.
I did enjoy the ride there and back on my R6 though :)

Is it just me or did monaco look even more narrow than usual this year?

Perez not making many friends, bet Button was secretly thrilled he had to retire. Felt for Kimi, the only guy to not let Perez barge his way through, but was good to see him demonstrate how to pass safely at Monaco to get back up to 10th.

Other than that a fairly boring GP. Nice for Nico to win, alas fingerman extends his lead anyway...

P.S. Le Mans is awesome. Went in 2003 and 2006. The spectacle, the noise, the atmosphere... goosebumps man. Should be on every petrolheads bucket list.
