Not content with the first one I decided to have a go at another.
A very deep gouge between two chips resulted in 8 broken traces. Extremely awkward to undertake - had to remove both chips to gain access in the end and then re-socket them both.
Took about 2 hours to undertake - bit of a nightmare but pleased with the neat result. Now that what I call surgery.
Now fixed.
