My NNC, flatpack and modest board/game collection

Seems like a modest collection compared to a lot round here! But I'm proud of it, and happy with it. Most of the boards were acquired recently, until about 6 weeks ago the only boards I'd ever owned were Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and briefly Third Strike.

Here we have (pics spammed below):

My lovely Sega NNC which I love to bits, it's got some scratches on the side supports which kinda annoy me but, I got it like that so oh well. I adore this machine, so much I didn't want to even modify it with a coin button or anything, I keep a pot of 50ps to use.

My flatpack cabinet, nothing super fancy, I built it mainly as a way to browse games and find new games I like. But honestly, I think I jumped the gun a bit and should've bought another cabinet straight up. All-in this thing is a little beast, compact, screen looks fabulous (Dell Ultrasharp 2007FP) especially with the CRT filter. But all-in, including the AimTrak gun (not pictured, you can see the little trailing lead though!) cost me about 1000 quid. I could've cheaped out and saved about 400 by using the rpi sure, but I wanted an actual PC in here. I put in a nice AMD vega graphics chip so no graphics card, spent the extra cash on a blazing fast nvme drive so it boots nice and snappy. Marquee lights up (although I need to finish making that wiring permanent) It was worth it, a nice project, but part of me still feels like I should've just bought another CRT cab. Especially as I don't like the HAPP Competition Buttons but none of the flatpack makers do a panel that will take Sanwa because it's all just CNC'ed MDF, kinda lazily designed too imo, the control panel is an utter nightmare to get in and out of.

Next up my little shelf of PCBs. I'm still trying to find the best way to store these, and have some anti-static bags and sturdy containers on the way. But we have:

Cabal (bootleg, trying to fix the sound)

Silk Worm (bootleg, terrible condition, fixed the video but no sound)

Captain Commando

Konami Aliens

Dynablaster (bootleg)

Bomber Lord (bomberman world bootleg)

Marvel Super Heroes vs Capcom

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

Cadillas and Dinosaurs (bootleg)

Taito Twin Eagle

Street Fighter 2 World Warrior (non-CPS1 so I assume bootleg)

and a NeoGeo MV1F with

Puzzle Bobble

Metal Slug

Blazing Star

Aero Fighters 2

and a crappy 161 multicart which is being returned because most of the games just reset endlessly, shouldn't have bought it!

and finally

Strikers 1945 (board is wrecked, took a punt on it for 20 quid but it's outside my ability to repair)

and a Pi2JAMMA I guess, that thing was more of a curiosity than anything else, software on it was seriously disappointing compared to something like Launchbox so, I toyed with it for a few weeks and quickly got bored of it. Nice thing to have, though.

Next up a shelf of wondrous things!

And a shelf of slightly more modern things!

Not pictured:

OSSC, Minigun Supergun

Japanese Sega Saturn with a TerraOnion MODE on the way.

Japanese PS1 with a PSIO.

Dreamcast with GDEMU.

and about a thousand other PS2/Xbox 360/PS1 games in storage.
