I've finally managed to get one. I just finished giving it a clean up today so thought I'd show it off
It's
been on my list for a long time, and I had a mini for a short while but
it just didn't grab me in the same way as the full size cab.
Then I spotted this one and it said 'Own me!'. How could I resist?
I
have to give massive, massive thanks to Alex/chuckie egg for his help
in getting this cab for me. He went and had a look at it in person and
also did the deal to buy it on my behalf, then stuck it in his van, took
it home and looked after it in his game room until Martin could collect
it from him. What a legend!
It's
a genuine 100% original US import cab, all the internals are original,
no cut wiring or anything - even the serial from the cab and pcb match!
It's
in remarkable condition it must be said. The side art is 9.5/10, so I
can only guess it was sited in a Sega office or something
Shaker
works like a charm, the monitor is original and as crisp as the day it
was first powered on. Just a few cig burns on the plastics and a small
pcb fault to sort (oh and the lovely blue shag pile on the foot plate -
but that's for playing in bare feet
), but I'm over the moon with it.
