Hi All,
This is my current stock having sold most of my AES (home carts) many years ago. I got into the Neo-Geo in 1993 and the first game I got was Alpha Mission 2 (ASO2) and I now have:
Nam-1975 AES - bought from Ravengames in 2002
Viewpoint AES - bought from Neostore.com in 2001
Prehistoric Isle 2 - MVS, Blazing Star - MVS, Last Resort - MVS, Viewpoint - MVS, Metal Slug 1 - MVS, Windjammers - MVS, Puzzle Bobble (Bust a move) - MVS to AES conversion bought from Ray Young at !Arcade!
I have just bought a 161-1 multi game MVS cart from Shawn at Neo-Geo.com as the price of MVS games is now becoming too expensive and games like Robo Army and Metal Slug X play perfectly on this. I use a Phantom 1 MVS convertor (again bought from Ray Young at !Arcade!) to play the MVS games on my Neo-Geo AES console which is a Japanese one so it runs full screen at 60hz. It is a low serial one in the 60,000's so the picture via an RGB scart lead is great.
Although I now have a number of Atari cabarets including Tempest, Asteroids and Centipede I still have a softspot for these brilliant and addictive Neo-Geo games. Yes you can see I'm not into beat 'em ups which kinda makes the Neo-Geo a strange choice but it does have some great shoot 'em ups as mentioed above and more including Pulstar, Zed Balde, Strikers 1945 etc.
I have posted this here as these are arcade related items too.
Cheers
Mark
