[ukvac] Neogeo problems
Hi,
Help needed, my poor neogeo slot one has developed a problem with the PCM
chip. It is now letting out a fairly high pitched crashing sound instead of
the wonderful bullets and mayhem that Metal Slug usually produces. The
effect is very similar to that experienced by the incorrectly dumped mame
neogeo roms. The FM chip and everything else is fine.
Anybody else experienced something like this with a Neogeo system?
Will replacing the PCM chip fix the problem (it doesn't seem to be surface
mounted)?
Can I buy the PCM chip from anywhere?
Would anyone like to buy the board cheap and fix it?
Will Batman survive the Joker's Chain Saw painful pun?
....... for the answers to these questions and much more tune in next
e-mail.
Regards
John
