There's a very quick vertical line on the odd explosion but everything else is perfect.

That's pretty much normal. It's not correct, obviously but it's so common as to not be worth worrying about. It usually happens when one or more of the 191 counters in the X/Y stage just before it goes to the DACs (sorry, I forget the name) have been replaced and so you have a mix of different manufacturers. Replacing all 6 of the chips for new ones of the same make usually fixes it.

That's in my experience anyway. It can be other things too I'm sure. Or could be one or more of them going bad.

But bottom line, ignore it unless it gets worse.

Cheers Guddler, top advice as usual; and quite interesting to boot. It's not that noticeable or a bother so I'll leave it. If it ever has some major rework then I'll get it seen to.

Next I'm going to replace / fix the marquee light (I assume there's one up there) and I think only one speaker is working (all sounds seem to come out or the right side). Tonight I'll open up the top and have a nose at what's there. With a working screen and pcb this feels like a nice mainly 'cosmetic' project; what a relief! Famous last words.

Good stuff. Love seeing kids on the old games. Except mine that is. I turn my cabs off when I hear my kids coming down the stairs then turn them back on when they go back up to their room. Once they get on them I can't get a go! Yeah, I'm a bad dad

Definitely space for more! And when this side of the room is full I can move out the kids toys and double the number of cabs

Behind where I took the photo is the same space again.

Saw this over on Twitter, great photo, everyone is properly engrossed in the games. It's great to see everyone enjoying themselves playing on your cabs.

Primed and sprayed! Halfords own 'grey primer' and 'aluminium' spray paint for those who want to know. Next step is replacing all the spade connectors etc.

But seriously that does look lovely.

I used that paint for my PPos steering wheel it has a nice finish.

Nice one mate.
