I am reasonably optimistic about this one ... SF6 is boring as all heck, but I trust the heritage of this game ... I have a feeling there will be even more depth than usual and in many, many, different ways.

((( also, not for nothing ... was there another VF6 thread? )))

ive not played a fighting game since SFIV Ultra and it was absolutely fantastic

it had a really good balance of characters and seemed to do the series justice, since then i have seen lots of DLC and unlockable nonsense so i tapped out, i did try and play one of the Xbox games(it may have been killer instinct) but i hate the MK style controls

that video above doesnt look great

Looks cool with all the parrys and blocks , pre alpha always sceptical !

Non sega in house dev …
Who knows at this stage

The series has a bit of a history of being out front Technically so it would be great 😊 if that trend was to continue …. Here’s hopping

I genuinely believe that the publisher will not let it go south ... and I think that since the devs *literally* put a full VF in one of their games (that was since reversed engineered into a full PC release) they're going to do something fucking special, here.
The 'FGC' are a weird old lot ... and I think the nice thing about VF has always been ... "Er, OK, you are all very lovely ... but this is the thing." ... I sure as shit hope that they don't cater to that often elitest subset of games players ... but modern life is what it is ...

Either way ... I'm genuinely going to predict a ... VERY .... good game. (whether I like it or not)

I loved SF4, but never gave 5 the same amount of time (so couldn't yet justify 6).
I've never tried the newest Mortal Kombat's either.
I got Soul Calibur 6 on offer the other day, more of the same, but I like it.

I thought the character animation looked superb in that video.
I've never been into Virtua Fighter, but maybe I should give it a go.
I've probably started too many sentences with 'I' there, but hey ho.

For me personally, I hope its gonna be amazing, it is pre alpha so who knows and its not being done by AM2 which is a worry but fingers crossed. My favourite Virtua fighter is 4 by the way:)
