This is worth a visit, if you are in the area. It focuses on the home computers of the early 80s and runs until 1st November. There's lots of cool artwork from Oliver Frey, who famously did 7 million illustrations for Zzap 64 and Crash magazines (among others) back in the day. They have three cabs to play: Galaxian, Tron (lcd screen) and a 60-in-1 icade. The Tron is labelled £1 a play, so I didn't! I put 50p in the Galaxian and got two games. It was a Monday morning when I went and it was quiet.

The only playable computer system was the Commodore 64, and a Dragon 32, BBC B, ZX80 / 81 / Spectrum were in display cases. I'd forgotten that the ZX80 was no bigger than, and had the processing power of, a ham sandwich.

'C64 is skill IDST' - a message on my English school exercise book from 1983 - translates as, 'Commodore 64 is very good indeed, If Destroyed Still True' lol!
