TRAVELLING BY RAIL - BWT
Bridgwater is the 40 mins stop after Bristol Temple Meads on the mainline from London, Birmingham, Exeter or Cardiff, however not all stops are at Bridgwater so look at Taunton as the closer busier station, I just checked fares and seem fairly reasonable at the moment, you might be able to get a Return for £120.
From London there is a train that leaves at 9:34 Paddington and arrives at Taunton, with a switch you are at Bridgwater for 12:28. Most trains seem value for money but most trains leave just after 9pm on the return leg.
The Night Rivera service seems to be good going home to London but useless getting to Taunton, a regular train seems to take about 2 hours.
The Return leg, there is a sleep-over train, this arrives at Taunton at 1:40am and arrives at Paddington at 05:04, fares can be under £40. Getting from Bridgwater could be a taxi, bus or last train is just after 10pm £7 for 10mins..
From Birmingham New Street, there appears also to be reasonably good value, from tomorrow tickets are available to purchase at discounted rates.I did find a Off peak Return for £80-90, but bad news you would have to leave at 7pm.
The hotel Mercurie will pass if you walk to Timewarp, another option is to get to Taunton and book a hotel sleep and then get on a cheap train to Bridgwater.
More info to follow, we just want to drum up support and bookings.
