[ukvac] OT: Coin Mech powered by a PC
I wonder if any of electronically minded chaps could give me some hints
with this problem:

I'm currently powering a coin mechanism from one of the spare power
supply connectors in a PC. This setup worked fine using a different PC,
but I've upgraded to a newer one and it seems to have stopped working.
The light comes on in the coin mech (flashes for a few seconds) but it
doesn't accept any coins. Also, when I wire it up to an I-PAC board, it
causes the PC to say that the keyboard is missing (or has an error).

Any ideas?

Check that its getting at least 12volts ...

Are you wiring it up right ? ... do you have a credit controller board ...
whats different about how its set up now to how it was set up when it was
working ?
