[uk-vac] OT: old electronics book
Do any of you recognise this book:

I inherited it from my Grandfather, but unfortunately my dad (or one of my
uncles) ripped the cover off, tore out a few pages & scribbled on some of
the pages.
The references at the end of each chapter are all earlier than 1939, so I
would imagine to book was written around then.

I'd love to get hold of an intact copy.

Cheers,
Simon

Mmmmmmmm valves.
Dad or Uncle?
That's the sort of thing my 1 year old would do.
Are there no pages which realate to the title of the book anywhere?
Or even the publishers or writers would be a start.

I suspect the book, my dad & my uncles were all quite young when it was
vandalised ;)

no, nothing at all that I have found. each chapter has extensive
bibliography, but nothing that relates to the book itself.

It's definitely english (as opposed to US), as there are "Colour Codes" in
the appendices, rather than "Color Codes"
