If it's only a PC engine in case and branding, then could they not have made it fit on a keychain, powered by micro USB and with a mini HDMI header? That'd be proper mini

Regardless, nice if it appeals to folk

Really not bothered about hauling CRTs these days and I've always had terrible luck with genuine PCE hardware. Still eyeing up FPGA options for all my retro needs but if Konami puts Gradius II on this, there's a good chance I'll buy it

Wow, great set of games on both. Shows you how many great games the pc engine had as I could probably list another 20 off the top of my head that should be on there. No Gunhead??

It's great that they've put some CD games on there as well as SG games. I'm presuming R-type will be the CD version R-type complete. I've got my mate in Japan to sort mine, can't wait!

Why are you getting the JP version out of interest? Prefer the white version?

I have the original white PC Engine and Core Grafx and just love the design of the console, and the original one is the one that holds most memories.

Incidently I also have a NIB Turbo Grafx with Blazing Lasers inside (temporarily forgot that was gunhead) probably because I just can't except the game being known as anything else other than Gunhed

I only have the Core grafx so it would be nice to get a little mini partner for it. The white version is probably more iconic though. If I had the option I'd probably go for that one. Thankfully they all come with the same games (apart from Snatcher) so no big deal

Gunhed is a much cooler name than the generic sounding Blazing lasers. Also ties in with the live action film for extra bonus points.

Alien Crush but no Devil Crash.

True, AC is good but honestly DC is the better game. One of the best arcade pinball games ever IMO. Luckily I have that on HuCard already, but probably the biggest omission.

Oh sh*t...just realised the initials for those two games reads AC/DC...wonder if that was on purpose?

Looks good and a nice games list but £100 seems steep in comparison to the Nintendo mini's. First thing you need to do is buy a second controller as well.

And Spriggan, one of the best Compile shooters.

Also M2 are doing the emulation, so it should be good quality.

Suddenly I am more tempted to keep my pre-order despite the steep price point.
