I'm sure you are aware, if you need a new dongle due to CMOS battery expiry or want to get it running outside of a cabinet then AndyGeezer is the man, he has a service kit and will authenticate it to your unit.

I have a NOS unit as well and was surprised the CMOS was still going okay!

The DBAC hardware has a million checks on matching exact monitors, 3 x IO's and other things, including motherboard etc, it's very hard to get it working.

Here is a rare photo of it running in window mode on original TX2 hardware.:)

Thanks yes, this is a long term project and also a nice unit for fixing other type x2 units/swap to test parts etc. Graphics card testing etc.

Nice to see the full widescreen image

I guess we will find out the fate of the CMOS battery shortly!! place your bets gents!!
