Pioneer CLD-2950 laser disc player

Nothing to do with me but spotted it in a retro junk shop in Beccles suffolk he wants £50 for it, its boxed but unknown if works. might be some use to someone.

It's a decent machine, certainly one of the better models of that time (93-96) Offers dual side play, supports NTSC discs as well.

For that price i'm pretty sure it wont be working, If I was anywhere near there i'd probably grab it.

bargain if it works, he could at least test it with CD

Not sure what model mine is, pretty similar specs I would think, plays both sides, cds, Pal/NTSC and with many of the Music discs they have Digital Audio with the videos so sounds great, just need old TV to watch them though as look naf on LCD Projector so doesn't get used but nice to have along with VHS player if you can't get a movie on DVD or Bluray

they normally go for about 100 quid on ebay in a non working state,so if it's boxed with it's remote,even if it does not work,that's still a great price

I'm only up the road in Norwich. I already have a player, but know a few people who might be interested. Do you know what shop it was in Beccles?
