Hello mods :)
I just tried to check to see if a PM i just sent had actually been sent and i get the "you don't have the permission..." Message.
Is anyone else having this problem or just me?

I have an issue where I can view message titles in my outbox but can't read them - returns the permissions error..

This is only happens when using my phone though (classic or mobile version).

Hi all. Trying to view sent PMs in any view through the UKVAC App is currently broken but will be resolved in the next release I understand.

As for your problem Ben - what is the exact message you get and how is it triggered?

Can you estimate the frequency of errors?

How long has it been going on, and are you on fixed-line broadband or 3G currently?

cheers dude

Hi Tim, it has been pretty bad this last week.

For example I was replying to a thread yesterday, and quotng and it just kept giving me the error message. It took me about 5 or 6 attempts before I could reply.

It was either page not found or permissions error. I'll see if it does it today and post the error

I'm on a fixed wired broadband connection

Change your phone settings for the site from "mobile" to "normal" or whatever the equivalent is. Had the same issue on J+ which was solved in this wy. Only applied to my sent items.

My error is slightly different to what I thought.

The error that keeps cropping up for me is:

"The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

Ah, not just me / my somewhat slower than usual Virgin Media connection then..
Noticed that same problem a few times this week, usually in the reply box. Refreshing the page clears it, I'd just assumed it was VM having a goslow/bad proxy day

I'm on Virgin and I don't get the problem quite like you do. I'm reasonably sure it's a problem on our end. We need to make a change to the backup system but once that is done I'll be able to investigate this fully for you chaps.

This is happening on non-Virgin connections as well. The consistent thing here seems to be Firefox

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
