Great stuff, Guys. Loved the podcast.

But I didn't love 'Horizon'.

OK, so I can see how the idea of a 3D Moon Patrol might intrigue. But this is just a massive cup of she-eye tea, if you'll pardon my French. Even the emulation is pants on my MAME setup. It's super slow and the sound hardly works. I've played it a few times, but I doubt I'll be playing it again.

On reflection, I may have been a bit harsh in my previous comment about Horizon...

The game didn't seem to play at full speed on my machine, which probably helped with my score - but certainly didn't add to my enjoyment!

Once I get my MAME shizz updated, I might give it another go.

Great podcast again guys!

Still not sure how I feel about Horizon yet. It doesn't have the same charm as Moon Patrol I think. I think I need to change my brightness or contrast, as I can't really see the bombs against the background, which causes many a death and frustration! Also, that d!ckhead in the red car. Has he had too much moon IPA? I will try and get a final go tonight after work and improve my crappy score.

On the subject of the No Quarter podcast going missing, I've been listening to them once I caught up with your podcast. I just got finished with ep40 - Cliffhanger, which contained an email feedback from a certain Mr Marland (whoever that is?) talking about his 40th birthday in America. If you or anyone else can't find the episodes, I listen on the Castbox android app, and that seems to have the first 126 episodes still available. I'm not sure how many there were altogether.

I would like to play Bells and Whistles in a future episode. The local arcade used to have that back in the day and I used to play it a lot. Another game I'd like to see, because you won't do Chelnov , is Gun Ball. I came across it on youtube and it looks like a weird mix of Mercs, Smash TV and Pinball. I'm going to give it a go once I'm done with Horizon.

Great podcast again chaps, you didn't read out my feedback left last time. Had a quick couple of goes on Horizon, at first I thought what is this pap, but a few goes later can see how it might be quite a point chaser, got it a bit too frantic for me as soon as the gun turrets start to appear. I started trying to get all the baddies in the sky to get the 1000 bonus's but then red car or the beetle things would get me. My score was a very lowly 22300.

Had a few goes on horizon. Irem ultimately dropped the ball on this one. An interesting concept of the multi layered playfield but it’s unresponsiveness makes it difficult and frustrating to play. I didn’t like it and am recording a score of 0. Can I make a suggestion of next shows game to be lost tomb by stern. Thank you.
