Picked up this Point Blank earlier in the year following a post by AndyGeezer mentioning that a local Op was selling off a few machines (Cheers Andy!). Was told it had a faulty monitor with a single line across the screen. I powered it on a few weeks back and it let out some magic blue smoke. Sent the Monitor chassis off to Gunblade and 2 days later it was back and repaired:

It now works a treat. I've wanted one of these for ages so I'm well chuffed.

I managed to get hold of a Topper (cheers Sean) as well so all I need is a new armoured cable and some side art/control panel art and its all sorted

Yeh, I had many hours of fun with this on the playstation.

I don't suppose yours has the side art intact?

I did consider buying this, scanning it and seeing if Muddymusic could get it reproduced:

Looking at the pictures, I'm not sure if the artwork is in good enough condition to use. I'm also not sure if there is a US/Euro style cabinet so no idea if that art would fit? I did ask the seller but be didn't seem that keen on measuring it

Looks in great condition too mate, I've got one of these and its a really fun game - try and find a PB2 pcb as that can run in there as well.

That artwork looks great, really finishes the cab off. Think I'm going to have to order that artwork from the states and take a gamble on it being decent enough to apply.

Not 100% sure these days, I think I paid around £75 for mine ages ago. All I do know is PB3 is nigh on impossible to find and costs a fortune!

Just wanted to share in the Point Blank love, this is my one and I bought some damaged side art and stuck it over the missing bits of artwork... You can't tell on first glance

But if muddy can ever do a perfect set of left and right side arts I would buy em

Nice machine. I might drop Muddy a PM, see if he thinks he'll be able to reproduce artwork this size.

What are the chances someone could scan their side art, save me buying that art from the US? I can scan the front art and bezel art.

I'd love to be able to provide that side art, Point Blank cabs look superb with that full size art - definitely one of the better later arcade cabs. One complete side should do it for a scan as it's mirrored, and it will deserve the full vector treatment.
I've got a cpo but not sure if that's from a conversion kit, I'll be vectoring that soon though.
