I've been working away in jersey channel islands for a while now and thought I would look for any retro arcades I could visit. Unfortunately there isn't any at all apart from tamba arcade centre that's full of new arcades and pretty expensive to be honest. Untill I was walking for something to eat and look through a window in a very classy business shop and see this

It was working and looked to be in great condition it's a shame I couldn't get any were near it to have a go but they prob wouldn't have got me out. Just thought I should let you guys know that unless there is any collectors on the island or members that this would prob be the only retro one on the island.

According to a post on the UKVAC Facebook page only a few days ago, there is a place called Pizza Project in St Helier with several very nice looking retro cabs including a yellow Pacman, a Defender, a Universal table (Cosmic Alien?) and what might be a Tron upright. There may well be more, those are the ones I spotted in the pics.

Get yourself there if it's not too late!

Pizza Project was a pop-up for a short period. One of the setter-uppers was Tim Evans who has a bit of a personal collection and who also set up the Jersey Arcade Event (https://www.ukvac.com/forum/threads/jersey-arcade-event.79133/)

Pretty sure I saw that cab in a business foyer or something in St Helier a few years ago. I think they had that cab, maybe a Star Wars Trilogy and a few retro computers in the window. We were walking into St Helier from the Waterfront and the building was on a corner. I think it was on the corner of Castle Street/the esplanade. I was nosing through the window for a while! Forgot to see if it was still there when I went last month.

I know the building you mean,. It was the offices of C5 Alliance, a computer services company. I remember them having some computers on display (early Macs, PCs, home computers etc), but not arcade machines.
The MD was found guilty on some charges and I think the company re-shuffled and was bought up by someone else (BDO?) and those offices closed.
