I lost more hours of my life to this game than any other and still think the multi-player component is the best ever made; exploding bodies and chunks of bouncing flesh with a Quad damage rocket launcher and rocket jumping is where it's at....all this falling over with no injuries whatsoever in modern gaming kind of ruined it for me; I think only the recent Wolfenstein game came close to the old days of limbs flying everywhere.

Absolutely epic game, remember getting the demo and playing it like crazy then buying the full thing as soon as it released.
Ah the days of dialup late night deathmatch sessions (and bitching about LPB's), Capture the Flag and Team Fortress.
I remember after the first few games talking to someone at work who also played it, and trying out WSAD and mouse control for the first time, felt so weird at first, then after a few games of circle strafing you wonder how you ever did without it!
Playing against Reaper bots to improve etc etc.
We had a LAN session at my workplace one friday evening, ended up with about 4 of us freaking out one of the other guys by all chasing him around one of the maps and banging the axe against the walls..such fun!
Play it now after long time away from it and you realise just how fast paced and manic it can be on a server with other humans. Love it.
