Bit late to the party, but that's what work does for you! F*ck me, has hell frozen over??? I agree with Mr P-Man 100% :p And, no I'm not desperately interested in yet another forum, either. But come on, there's enough bloody programmers on this list, surely we can help out if asked by Rav to mod the forum and make it do whatever we want it to do? Personally, I vote for assisting in getting the auto-mail bot thing that Rav spent so much time on perfected properly. My problem isn't really one of forums vs mailing lists, but yes, when there's about a dozen forums you visit regularly and you are a "teleworker" (work from home, stay up till 3am playing games!!) it's very easy blow half your working day or more just browsing the net which is a habit i HAVE to break or risk the consequences. The problem really is the so called "community" essentially just turned to shit. And the problem will remain since it's no different now to what it was before, forum, email, flippin' telepathy, it'll still be the same - although P-Man's angle is a good start! Thing is, I and quite a few others from what I can gather are just as active in collecting as we've always been. Hell I'd say probably more so, although it does go in fits and starts. I spend several nights most weeks fixing stuff, I regularly meet up with other collectors, I even have spats of going on IRC from time to time (but that's another work killer!). I like collecting, fixing, and more importantly beer. I'm simply not interested in all the crap that goes along with the online side. Bah, I could go on but I'd just be rambling. I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted. Gudd. _________________________________________________________________ Win New York holidays with Kellogg’s & Live Search http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/111354033/direct/01/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
