Well I've got a couple of taito 7800 locks and 1 duplicate key left if
you've got anything to swap for them? I'm particularly after atari
system1 stuff and always cocktail si and si part II bits, especially
instruction cards
marquees flyers pcbs all the usual junk.
Another approach though, if you fancy it, is to dismantle the barrel
lock, take out the barrel and place ANY fitting key into it. this will
cause all the pins that stop the thing from turning to stick out. If you
file them off (with the key still in) and reassemble the lock it should
work with that key. I just did this quite successfully with my system1
coin door but I've never opened one of the taito locks so I'm not
guaranteeing that one. There's more info on that here:

look at the small tips section.
Your best bet though is to find someone with the key because we now know
that although the blank is a little unusual and may take a little more
adapting than normal it can be done. The keys I had done are marked "CEA
Made In Italy" on one side and "STA2" on the other.
