I agree.
Forums for me are tedious too, the ability to receive emails and quickly
browse them are ideal.
I will look at the forum when i get chance, but emails are presented to me
every time i switch the pc on- i don't need to do anything
I'm not a big contributor to VAC but I do and always have done, read every
post 8+ years.
I have a games room- fully working- that's not used anymore, and would like
to re-ignite the former interest- as it was a big part of my life.
Sure, people move on, but there are still folks who can make this work.
Let's not kid ourselves, it's never going to be what it was - but it can
still be good!
I wish any endeavour every success. I may log into the forum now and again -
if i can remember my password!- but email gives me EVERY post!
Anyone want an upright Tempest?

Not without a mail interface it doesn't. Too many people work in places
where web browsing just aint allowed, but email is. Besides which, the
VAC is about old skool, so why remove trhe old skool way of using VAC?
What's next, remove the IRC channel too???
