Hi all,

I've been watching and supporting these projects for a while now and just before Christmas the first public version of ReplayOS was released. More details here: https://www.replayos.com/ and here: https://www.rgb-pi.com/ but in short this is the next version of RGB-Pi and the custom OS that goes with it. The original version used a custom cable that ran from GPIO on a raspberry pi to a scart plug or jamma adaptor, the new hardware uses a scart plug adaptor that takes an HDMI input from the pi instead, a jamma version is in the works. I've been doing some initial testing using a Pi 5 2GB on an LCD screen, so far very impressed indeed, video output is nice and clean and controls feel great. The emphasis is on optimised experience so simple to set up, clean front end with no unnecessary bells and whistles. When OS4 came out I stopped building pi mame images because it was so good and the new one is even better, rebuilt from the ground up interfaced with libretro directly, this isn't another frontend slapped on the top of retroarch. I'll do a proper review once I get my hands on the RGB-Pi v2 adaptor which should hopefully be in the next couple of weeks.
