Not sure if this got through to the forum as I tend to use the email version still so in case anyone didn’t see and as a reminder, I’m holding a meet next weekend in Broadstone near Poole, Dorset. Here’s the details and if you’d like to come then let me know.
Meet starts at 12 on Sat 22 Aug to continue until late afternoon on the Sunday.
Hope those who are planning to stay over have sorted accommo from the list I put up earlier. I suppose you could always camp in the garden if it came to the worst!

If using Sat Nav aim for High Park Road and not Roman Road as the Sat Nav will try to get you to go through a footpath to get to the house.
General directions are head to Broadstone. Best landmark is the leisure centre which is on a roundabout at the end of the high street. You need to go down a hill off the roundabout on the exit just before the leisure centre towards Corfe Mullen. After 100 yards at the bottom of the hill turn left at the traffic lights into Springdale Road.
Go along Springdale Road for about 500 yards until you get to a bollard in the centre of the road and take first right after it into High Park Road. Go up the hill until the end and turn left into Roman Road and a dirt track. We’re the last house on the left at the bottom of the track.
If you get to Julia’s House you’ve gone too far and need to go down the hill round the corner to High Park Road. Similarly, if you get to Corfe Hills School or an Esso garage you’ve missed a turning and need to head towards Broadstone and turn at the traffic lights.
There’s some parking in the drive (as long as you have a good handbrake!) or otherwise in the road. If busy best to park at the top of High Park road and only about a minute’s walk down to the house.
Foodwise I know people always tend bring crisps but we’re planning to have a barbecue so best to bring burgers, sausages or rolls or other barbecue stuff and anything else you might fancy. In fact if anyone’s got a barbecue itself they could bring, please let me know as we don’t have one at the mo. Difficult to persuade my wife, Fiona to get one being a vegetable!
