Got this 29” Rodotron on the shelf …
A bout time I took it to the bench.

Dusty chasiss
Will update with pics once it’s on the bench.

Other than the fuses Anything I would want to check out on the chassis before I power up on these well known for being flaky Chinese chassis ?

It’s a curved 29” type ..
I think off top of my head it might be a pentranic tube

I just got another monitor with one of these 666 chassis but its iirc PF at the end (it's from a flat Philips tube) I noticed the yellow silicone type glue they use you know on some of the parts it had gone brown and had rusted parts around it weirdly the rest of the chassis looked quite new

Yeah they mention fans to keep them cool and known for bad solder also very sensitive when switching, I need to send mine to Grant at some point.. I feel like giving up some days with monitors.. It used to be pcbs now every machine turns up with a faulty or dead monitor 🤣
