So sorry to hear this. It's an unfortunate sad place to be - I have been here myself - infact I was shocked to learn after how common this is in humans.
You need to be there for her and comfort her and do all the good man stuff. Chin up for you too, things do work out and if you are trying I am sure things will be fine next time around - that's what happened to us.

Hi Owain,
Yes this is a very sad indeed, however it is quite common and not often spoke of, being of an extremely delicate personal point. I have friends and family which have gone through this, and most often next time round the 'body' is reset and things are better, this is of course no consolation to loss. :-( As the others have said, be strong and support your lady with the help of friends and family too.

Just when I think the situation can't get any worse it suddenly does. At 4am this morning Lou delivered the stillborn baby. It was very small but you could clearly make out its features. Then the hospital goes and makes it even worse by asking if they can keep the baby to carry out some experiments (please note that they really do mean experiments, not tests as they say there is no possible way of knowing the cause) I am hoping that people would understand why I refused.
