Does the Uk spec Sega Lindbergh Universal Cab accept 220v or is a step down required. If no step down is required what is the original PSU that is used that can accept 220v without a stepdown.

If its UK spec then I would have thought it would already have a transformer inside it to drop the 240v down to 100v, if its JAP spec it would have the big transformer block inside.

If its anything like the Naomis everything inside the cabinet will be 100v and will be 50hz and 60hz compatible as Japan runs both depending which part of the country they are in.

If its not UK spec and still running on 100v you would either need to get a stepdown or source a transformer that will drop 240v down to 100v, like something taken from a UK spec Naomi Universal.

My EU upright has it original built in stepdown transformer and works straight from a 230-240v UK socket.

Internally it's all 100v so any equipment you power from its internal cabling must accept 100v.

As for V/A output it is at least capable of over 500W as it can power a Lindbergh of which its PSU is capable of 350W along with the original monitor which can be around the 200W mark. Plus about 40w more for the sound amp and top light.

I'm Running a Sega ALLS in mine which has a 400w PSU, but my monitor is a modern LED which uses only 25w.

Would it be possible to get a photo of the original built in step down transformer or any part numbers off it please. I'm in Australia which also uses 240v and imported one from Japan so I would like to have an internal step down

Picture attached, bit hard to get a full view without taking stuff out.
If it's an upright I can't see it being anything other than a 220-240v model.
If its a JP spec sitdown cab, it would be very unlikely to have anything mounted here so would be 100v.

Luckily when I got my JPN unit the previous owner @cools had used a Airlink chassis mount stepdown so it runs of UK mains 240v.
