Hey! i am new here and sadly still a beginner on the topic of arcade machines and crt screens but a friend has recently asked me to help out with some of his arcade cabinets since i have worked on regular consoles and handhelds before a lot but that dosent really help me when it comes to crt screens yet.. the first machine i wanted to tackle was 2 seperate sega rally 2 cabinets, they both have one screen that is fully working and another that has a strange fade to black on the left side and the colors seem very faded, i know the caps could be causing the colors to behave like that but i dont know about the black fade on the side so i thought i could ask here for help in case anyone has some idea on what do try or check out? i have tools and limited knowledge for working on such boards but mostly simple things like some soldering and trace repair things, just not with crt, a bit scared of things like the neckboard and the high voltage things^^

In case it is relevant, its the two outer most screens, the one on the left has its left screen with issues and the one on the right has its right screen with issues.

replace the 10uf 250v capacitor on the neck card and check for bad solder joints on the crt socket
I would imagine all the chassis need a full service but the above may get you up and running
