Silver Strike Bowling Arcade (I.T.) TV / Screen Resolution Question

I have a 2009 Silver Strike Bowling (SSB) arcade that I got via FB Marketplace. The cabinet was cut in half and the bottom houses the silver strike computer and the i/o board, the CID, etc. The top was cut away and they mounted a Samsung LN32D430G3DXZA TV and it all seems to work pretty well. I would like to upgrade the 32" tv to a 43" or perhaps larger, but I'm not sure what TV would work. Since the SSB supports up to 800 x 600 (which it currently is set at that resolution), can I use a TV that only does 1080 or higher or will that not work? I tried a TCL TV that doesn't run any lower than 1080 and it didn't display the game or the bootup sequence. Granted, I didn't mess with it too long, but thought I'd check here to see if I have to dig deep for a 800 x 600 max TV (if such exists) or go a monitor route. I appreciate your suggestions.

I've also tried the DVI to HDMI connection off of the Night Hawk / NX7300LE - TD128EH graphics card and that didn't seem to work either (it showed fine during the bootup process) but when the game loaded, the screen was blank.

Any assistance would be gratefully accepted!

Thanks
