I'd love a Gauntlet cab. I have many fond memories of playing that game and then hunting around in my pockets to find 10p to get some more lives before my brothers character died

Or when he'd block me into a corner with zero energy and a spawn point just by moving to the other edge of the screen so I'd be trapped in the end of a corridor

Gauntlet's one of those games that's ok if there's a few of you, and can then be good fun but (IMHO) awful otherwise. It's the whole introduction of the fact that you can, if you want to, play forever just by pumping money in. That's around about the time I figured if I was going to pump money into something indefinitely then it may as well be a woman or beer

Yeah Gauntlet is a fantastic game with 4 people, not so on your own, defo a cab to have a few mates round for beers on. I've got a Centi cabaret still stuck in storage, must get it out sometime and see if it still works, I think I could just about cram it into the room.

Thanks for your replies guys. Have already thrown out many games and used all the space to the max!! Got my centi in a back storage room with 4 fruit machines as well.

. I had lots of space once,then i bought a pinball an another an....etc. As for the gauntlet...ive wanted one for 25 years since playing it as a kid and now i finally have one i think..... i will have it buried in my tomb/pyramid right next to me when i go in about a 100 years to see me thru the afterlife

. Was thinking of getting the gaunt2 conversion done on it too as that is a much better game. Now the room is full i can concentrate on restoring all to their former glory as i have collected many NOS parts for all the machines too. Thanks again guys!
